20th Annual Evening in the Garden

It's been 20 years in the making -- and who would have thought that a small, unprofitable wine tasting by the pool at the Terrace Garden Inn on Lenox Road in 1987 would have turned into such a successful gala to benefit Garden Hills Elementary School?
This annual springtime event has grown into a festive, fun-filled night showcasing fabulous food from some of Atlanta's most popular restaurants, wonderful wines and both silent and live auctions. This year's culinary creations are provided by Alon's Bakery and Market, Jean-Georges Vongerichten's Market and Spice Market, Portofino, Taverna Fiorentina, The Real Chow Baby and Toulouse. The lavish buffet features everything from delectable hors d'oeuvres to delicious desserts from the city's most celebrated chefs. Live and silent auctions are the highlight of this adults-only fundraiser to benefit the Garden Hills Elementary School PTA.
This year's event will be held at the beautiful home and garden of Tom and Andrea Radtke at 3126 Peachtree Drive in the historic Peachtree Park neighborhood.
